Humable Foundation was born from a simple observation: the best prosthetic and orthotic care in India was available — but not to everyone. Patients with the greatest need were the least likely to access it.
Founded in 2018 by Dr. Akshay Zodge alongside the clinical team at Pro-Ortho Perfect India, the Foundation was established as a legally registered charitable trust to bridge that gap — using the clinical infrastructure, patient relationships, and technical expertise of a real orthotics practice as its backbone.
Unlike NGOs that operate at a distance from healthcare delivery, Humable Foundation works alongside certified clinicians who understand limb differences, orthotic interventions, and patient rehabilitation from the inside. That combination — genuine clinical credibility plus charitable intent — is what makes our work distinctive and verifiable.
